MER Clinic: Scratch Building Tobacco Barns

Tobacco barns in North Carolina are an integral part of the scenery. In fact, throughout the Mid-East Region these structures are quite a common sight. This is a "Hands on Clinic" to construct North Carolina s version of the tobacco barn. You will see a slide presentation of local tobacco barns still standing, learn a little history, build from card stock, learn to make your own corrugated siding, and take home your own version of our tobacco barns for your layout. The models will be in N and HO. Extra Fee.
